Tyson Fury way too much for AJ and Deontay Wilder is a tougher test

October 9, 2020 By admin Leave a Comment

Capetillo was discussing the top three heavyweights and also aired his views that Fury is head and shoulders above the rest. Asked who is a more difficult proposition, AJ or Wilder? – Capetillo, speaking to Marc Gatford via MyBettingSites.co.uk, said, “I think Wilder is tougher because of his natural power. “His record shows this. If you have 42 knockouts, that’s something you don’t see every day. So with all due respect, we got to be more aware of Wilder than Anthony.

Tyson Fury way too much for AJ and Deontay Wilder is a tougher test

I think Anthony is a great fighter, a great kid, a great human being. But I believe Tyson Fury is way too much for him. Fury is a complete fighter; he’ll box you, he can stand with you – toe to toe. He will be knocked down and won’t quit. He’ll keep getting up. All of those experiences make Tyson a better man, a better fighter – he’s the better fighter. Anthony is a fighter that you have to be in front of for him to land, I don’t see too much creativity; feinting, using the jab more, head movement, knowing how to use the range and distance, using the ring. “Their IQ is different; their whole IQ is different. Anthony is a strong man who will come after you like he did with Andy, but it will be a different fight with Tyson. Tyson is the best fighter of this era and the heavyweight division and he proved it.

The Clock is Ticking Tyson Fury Warns Deontay Wilder

September 30, 2020 By admin Leave a Comment

After a dominating performance in February 2020, Fury now awaits a third fight with the “Bronze Bomber.” It is perhaps one of the most important matches of both men’s careers. Should Fury win the third fight, there will be no doubt that he is the better boxer among the two.

And if Deontay Wilder wins, there will probably be the fourth fight. Nevertheless, the bout is months away. A couple of weeks ago, sources claimed that the duo will most likely clash on December 19, 2020. However, the British boxer is growing impatient. He wants to fight soon. Check out his latest tweet below.

Fury has no choice but to battle against Wilder. He is contractually bound to fight the former champion. As far as the legacy is concerned, Fury need not box Wilder. The 32-year-old already fought the American. Besides the knockdowns from the first fight, Fury did a phenomenal job of outboxing Wilder.

In the second fight, Fury exposed a major hole in Wilder’s game; the Bronze Bomber could not fight moving backward. As a result, Fury marched him down and forced a corner stoppage in the seventh round. It is safe to say Fury is the better boxer and has much better fundamentals than Wilder.

If one were to take out Wilder from the picture, Fury has a ton of options in front of him. He can fight Anthony Joshua and unify the belts. Or he can defend his WBC title against the winner of Dillian Whyte vs Alexander Povetkin. Nonetheless, Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury 3 will be an interesting fight. The match will show the fans whether Wilder can fix the holes in his game and reclaim his lost gold.

Steward Impressed By Tyson Fury’s New State of The Art Gym

September 20, 2020 By admin Leave a Comment

World-renowned trainer Sugar Hill Steward has compared Tyson Fury’s new state of the art gym to the legendary Kronk Gym made famous by his uncle Manny Steward. WBC heavyweight champion Fury has set up the new gym in Morecambe, with the superb facility offering the ‘Gypsy King’ the chance to train close to home.

Steward Impressed By Tyson Fury's New State of The Art Gym

Sugar Hill was the mastermind behind Fury’s dominant stoppage win over Deontay Wilder earlier this year, and he’s been extremely impressed with what he’s seen at the gym after touching down in the UK. I’m here in the UK to check out Tyson Fury’s beautiful new gym. You will be amazed at the way it’s set up.

There are lots of vibrant action photos on the wall, and it’s just the way Manny would have had it done. It reminds me of his office that he had in Detroit in the 80s and 90s, so it’s a real touch of class. There’s a huge portrait of the punch that Tyson landed on Deontay Wilder, and that’s the right hand that changed the world.

Tyson’s new place is where it’s at. There is everything here. There’s the biggest punch bag I’ve ever seen in my life, and that’s what heavyweights use. There is all the artwork and memorabilia of the great nights of boxing, so it doesn’t get any better than this.

Classic Fight: Should Tyson Fury have lost his heavyweight championship to Otto Wallin?

September 20, 2020 By admin Leave a Comment

Just about a year ago, in Sept. 2019, Tyson Fury entered as a massive favorite against Otto Wallin in Las Vegas, in a fight that headlined on ESPN+. But the fight wound up controversial for more than just how the scores turned out. By judges’ tallies, Fury heavyweight championship on scores of 116-112, 117-111, and 118-110, pretty comfortable all told.

Classic Fight: Should Tyson Fury have lost his heavyweight championship to Otto Wallin?

Wallin, however, had opened up a vicious gash on Fury in the third round, and the cut in question was caused by a legal punch. Yes, Wallin worsened it with some questionable tactics, including a flat-out blatant foul where he raked the laces of his glove against Fury’s cut, but the cause of the cut was a legal punch. And Fury bled and bled and bled to the point that, realistically, most fights would have been stopped, and Wallin awarded the W.

Because Fury was the A-side — by a lot. Because Fury’s rematch with Deontay Wilder, a big money fight, was on the line. Because ESPN and Top Rank have put a lot of money into Tyson Fury, and no cut was going to be the reason he was upset by the largely unknown Swede.

That, of course, is just my opinion. But what do you think? Should Fury have been stopped in that fight? Should Wallin have pulled one of the great upsets or recent memory and been awarded the win? Or was referee Tony Weeks totally right to let Fury press on as Tyson wanted to, mind you given the level of fight we’re talking about here?
